There is an instinct of hatred? Why would some attack people they have nothing to do with, which are harmless, just because they are in a desperate situation, that they have problems? NOT just attack them, but they seem to like it, which seems curious at first glance. There is no apparent advantage. As can be seen even now in the case of Ukraine, those people have huge problems, apart from the fact that they have suffered enormously in history. How can anyone defend an aggressor, a multinational empire, which has destroyed nations at the expense of those who suffer, including Russian recruits?
Apparently hating and attacking makes you feel good. NOT just relaxing by discharging an instinct that is aggression (it is a reward in animals to attack another animal), but it makes you feel victorious, to rise in the social hierarchy, even if it's only in your eyes, just an illusion. You show who's boss, even if you don't have to. But a lot of people, but also animals, if I see weakness, attack. That's why it's not recommended for humans to get too close to chimpanzees, to touch them. They will see that their furless cousins are very weak in strength, and they will attack them. In humans this behavior is often seen, especially in crisis conditions. In corrupt communities the situation is almost transparent, and this is one of the mechanisms by which corruption and poverty are maintained. Maybe that makes the difference between a good society and a bad one, between progress and stagnation or regression. In fact an environment in which these instincts, including aggression, even in manifested form (violence), but also the removal of hierarchies based on instinct, are inhibited, makes these differences.
